Signing agreements of more than two billion riyals at the International Fisheries Exhibition
It comes under the auspices of the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Program for Fish, Eng. Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Mohsen Al -Fadhli.

The Deputy Minister Eng. Mansour bin Hilal Al -Mushaiti, and a number of His Highnesses and Excellencies, and heads and officials of government agencies.
“Al -Mushaiti” was briefed on the most prominent technical offers and modern innovations offered by the participating local and international companies, which reflect the latest developments in the areas of water farming, fisheries, seafood industry, and others.
The assistant undersecretary at the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Dr. Ali bin Muhammad Al -Sheikhi, explained that the opening ceremony of the exhibition witnessed the signing of a number of agreements between government agencies and private sector companies, with expected investments exceeding two billion riyals.
Fish wealth
He stressed that the establishment of the International Fish Resources Exhibition comes from the Kingdom’s leading role in the fish wealth sector, and in order to find a global platform that brings experts in this field.
And that the exhibition will include the establishment of technical workshops with the participation of international speakers, companies and international universities, to discuss a number of issues.
The sustainability of fish traps, the development of water farming, the development of food industries of seafood, localization of modern technologies and manufacturing industries, as well as equipment and fishing tools.
This is in addition to awareness to increase the consumer pattern of fish products, pointing out that the fourth edition of the exhibition was launched with the participation of about (4) thousand local and foreign businessman and businessman from (21) countries, and more than (120) international and local companies.
