Emirates writers and writers participate in the New Delhi Book Fair 2025

New Delhi, February 4 / WAM / The Emirates Writers and Writers Union participated in partnership with the Sharjah Book Authority at the New Delhi International Book Fair 2025, which started on February 1 and concludes on the 9th of the same month in the context of enhancing cultural cooperation between the UAE and India.

And participated in the first session d. Shehab Ghanem speaking about (building Emirati Indian cultural bridges) through poetic translation and his experience on the relationship between Emirati culture and Indian culture, then reviewed the poetic movement in the Emirates and translated it into the most used languages ​​and dialects in India.

A symposium titled (Uses of the Indian Personality at the Story Book in the Emirates) presented by Mohsen Suleiman, a member of the Federation’s Board of Directors, and dealt with the uses of the Indian character at the short story book from the founders and then the generations that devour Maypere the extent of the development of that character with the development of time and space.

Within the participation of the Federation in the exhibition activities, Dr. Aisha Al -Ghais with a paper on (the relationship between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of India, civilizations in the depth of history), in which I talked about the similarity between the Indian dialect and the Emirati dialect and the common vocabulary between them and its counterparts in the Emirati dialect and offered Dr. Aisha, a collection of local words that are the vocabulary of Indian weights, currencies and home tools, and also showed the use of the Arabic language overlap in the Indian dialects.

It is worth noting that the sessions are translated into a number of languages, including Arabic, English and Indian, while the writer and film director Nasser Al -Yaqoubi, during this participation, presents a documentary film on cultural and social exchange between the two countries.
