المملكة: “Saudi countryside” .. a million riyals support for two thousand hunters and 5,000 hunting trips

The sustainable agricultural rural development program “Saudi countryside” revealed its support for about 2000 fish fishermen, and the financing of 5,000 hunting trips with a total of one million riyals, which reflects its firm commitment to developing this vital sector and achieving the goals of Vision 2030.
He emphasized his keenness to support young fishermen and raise their capabilities in various coastal areas; This is to contribute to enhancing the sustainability of the fish wealth sector in the Kingdom, and to meet the needs of the Saudi market.

Program support for producers

Majid Al -Braikan, Assistant Secretary -General of the “Saudi countryside” program for media and communication, stressed that the participation of the program in the International Fisheries Exhibition, held in Riyadh during the period from 3 to 5 February, comes as an affirmation of the program’s commitment to support this important group of producers.
He pointed out that “Saudi countryside” provides many financing and training programs that contribute to increasing productivity and improving the level of small income of the fishermen.

He explained that the support provided by “Saudi countryside” includes various coastal areas, from Makkah and Madinah to the eastern region, Asir, Jizan and Tabuk, with the aim of enabling them to meet the needs of the markets and effective contribution to the national economy.

Funding fishermen and fishing trips

Al -Braikan revealed that the program provided support for about two thousand hunters, and the mall of more than five thousand hunting trips, with a total exchange of exceeding one million riyals, which reflects the program’s commitment to developing the maritime sector and promoting food security in the Kingdom.
It is noteworthy that the “Saudi countryside” program participates in the Saudi International Fisheries Exhibition as a golden sponsor, in appreciation of its pioneering role in supporting and financing the young fishermen sector, and its continuous contributions to their rehabilitation and training, in order to achieve the Saudi Vision 2030 targets in achieving food security.
