Mohammed Al -Kuwaiti: The organizational frameworks in the Emirates allow the maximum benefit from artificial intelligence

Abu Dhabi, February 4/ WAM/ Dr. Mohamed Al -Kuwaiti, President of the Cyber Security Council, confirmed to the UAE government, that the UAE is unique to many countries by setting many flexible laws and regulatory frameworks that allow the maximum benefit from artificial intelligence techniques, while ensuring its security and safety.
The Kuwaiti, in his interview with Emirates News Agency “WAM”, on the sidelines of his participation in the world of artificial intelligence that was held in Abu Dhabi today, said that the country is heading towards achieving more safe uses of artificial intelligence by 2025.
He pointed out that the UAE has been keen for years to adopt advanced policies that support digital transformation, as the government worked to facilitate the use of artificial intelligence by providing advanced infrastructure and enhancing a flexible legislative environment that helps to accelerate the adoption of this technology.
He stressed that one of the most prominent factors that distinguish the Emirates is direct support from the rational leadership, which has developed clear visions to ensure a smooth transition towards a future that depends heavily on artificial intelligence in various sectors.
On the summit, Dr. Mohamed Al -Kuwaiti pointed out that it witnesses important discussions and recommendations on the mechanisms for harnessing artificial intelligence in various fields, which reflects the UAE’s commitment to be at the forefront of the world leading countries in this field, not only in terms of development, but also in terms of safe use And the official of this technology.
Dr. Al -Kuwaiti talked about the pivotal role that cybersecurity plays in protecting the uses of artificial intelligence, noting that the UAE attaches the utmost importance to ensure that this technology is subject to safety frameworks.
He explained that the Cyber Security Council is working to scrutinize the models and algorithms that are used, to ensure that they are not safe or immoral.
He pointed out that checking the data on which artificial intelligence systems depend is a decisive element in ensuring the accuracy of the decisions produced by these systems, while ensuring that there are no leaks or violations of privacy.
He added that the UAE was keen to integrate cybersecurity as an essential part of the artificial intelligence system, to ensure a safe and reliable environment for this technology.
On the security challenges facing the state, Dr. Al -Kuwaiti said that cyber attacks are continuing to escalate, and the UAE has recorded about 200,000 cyber attacks daily since the beginning of this year on average, but thanks to the advanced protection systems, they were effective.
He stressed that the UAE, thanks to its security strategies, is today at the forefront of countries globally in terms of cyber readiness, thanks to government directives and cooperation with the main partners in this field.
He explained that artificial intelligence has become an essential element in repelling cybersecurity, as it is used to analyze cyber threats in an instantaneous manner, allowing the disclosure of attacks quickly and taking proactive measures to confront them.
He added that the volume of attacks today requires advanced technical solutions, as it is no longer possible to rely only on the human element to monitor threats, but there must be advanced artificial intelligence systems capable of dealing with these threats immediately and effectively.
