1.63 trillion riyals, the volume of Saudi reserve assets abroad

The reserve assets of Saudi Arabia abroad by the end of December 2024 recorded about 1.639 trillion riyals, low by 2.9%, on a monthly basis, compared to 1.688 trillion riyals last November.
According to the monthly statistical bulletin issued by Saudi Sama, the reserve assets of Saudi Arabia abroad on an annual basis increased by 0.1%, compared to 1.638 trillion riyals in the same month last year.

The bulletin explained that in securities abroad recorded 1.016 trillion riyals last December, high on a monthly and annual basis by 0.7% and 3.1%, respectively.
According to the bulletin, foreign exchange and deposits abroad recorded about 532.725 billion riyals last December, low 9.4% on a monthly basis, while it decreased by 4.7%, on an annual basis.

Reserve at the IMF

It stated that the status of the reserve at the International Monetary Fund recorded about 12.166 billion riyals last December, low on a monthly and annual basis, by 0.7% and 12.2%, respectively.
Last December, special withdrawal rights recorded about 76.977 billion riyals, low 0.6% on a monthly basis, while declining by 1.8% on an annual basis.
