The Emirati club Al-Ettifaq is close to signing the Italian star Balotelli

Emirates Today learned that the Emirati Al-Ittifaq Club is in the process of finalizing its contract with veteran Italian striker Mario Balotelli to join the ranks of the first team and represent it in the First Division League, as a free player, in a contract extending for two and a half years. The official announcement of the deal is expected in the coming hours.

Al-Ettifaq team currently occupies last place in the first division standings with 6 points.

The 35-year-old Balotelli player has previously represented several clubs, most notably Inter Milan, Manchester City, Milan, and Liverpool, in addition to the Italian national team, as well as French clubs.

Balotelli is distinguished by his ability to shoot with both feet, in addition to his great physical strength and individual skills during attacks.

Balotelli achieved important achievements with the clubs he represented, most notably winning the Italian League title three times with Inter Milan, the Italian Cup, and the European Champions League during the period between 2006 and 2010, in addition to winning the English Premier League title with Manchester City in the 2011-2012 season.
