The market value of major Korean companies rises to $1.01 trillion

SEOUL, May 3 (WAM) – The market value of the 10 largest corporate groups listed on the Korea Stock Exchange increased by 1.517 trillion won (US$1.01 trillion) at the end of April compared to the end of last year.

Data collected by market research company FnGuide and announced today showed that the total market value of the 10 largest corporate groups reached 3.832 trillion won on April 30, an increase of 1.517 trillion won from the 2.315 trillion won recorded at the end of last year.
