"Dubai Electricity and Water" and"Rothschild & Co" They are looking to expand their global business

Dubai, 3 May / WAM / Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, with a delegation from the Rothschild & Co. group, discussed ways to expand the scope of global businesses with large capitals, which require high levels of reliability, operational excellence, and long-term planning.

The two sides discussed innovative financing structures for long-term infrastructure projects, in addition to international expansion strategies for the utilities sector in the region, and practical paths that enable the Authority to enhance the value gained from global growth opportunities.

This came during a meeting with His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, with Sir John Rose, Vice Chairman of the Rothschild & Co. Group, accompanied by Saeed Al Awar, Partner and Chairman of Rothschild & Co. in the Middle East.

His Excellency Saeed Al Tayer stressed that the Authority adopts a forward-looking vision, and continues to explore strategic partnerships and apply best practices that contribute to enhancing flexibility, maximizing the value achieved, and supporting its long-term strategic goals at the local and global levels.

The meeting comes in light of the growing momentum witnessed by the financial sector in Dubai, as many international financial companies and consulting firms, including Rothschild & Co., have strengthened their presence and expanded their activities in the emirate over the past years.
