"Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology" 4 quality platforms are launched during "Made in UAE 2026"

ABU DHABI, 3rd May, 2026 (WAM) – As part of a national drive to enhance the competitiveness of the industrial sector and consolidate the UAE’s position as a global destination for industrial investment, the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology launches four new platforms during the “Make in the UAE 2026” platform, which launches tomorrow (Monday) under the slogan “Advanced Industry. We Emerge Stronger,” and will continue until next May 7 at the ADNEC Center Abu Dhabi.
The platforms include: the emerging companies platform, the quality infrastructure platform, the smart industries forum and the House of Industry. This system includes manufacturers, investors, emerging companies, technology providers, enablers and financing solutions within an integrated framework, in which industrial ideas and ambitions meet with finance, policies are translated into production, and the industrial capabilities of the UAE are highlighted.
Each pavilion was designed to provide tangible practical value, whether by building new partnerships, providing clearer market opportunities, or providing a direct path that takes ideas to the implementation stage, and was designed to connect the industrial sector with talent, artificial intelligence, quality, and national industrial heritage, thus contributing to enhancing the flexibility and sustainability of supply chains.
His Excellency Hassan Jassim Al Nowais, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, stressed: “The “Make in the Emirates” platform represents a national movement that translates industrial ambitions into tangible results, and the new platforms embody this trend in a practical and clear way, by linking manufacturers with real purchasing opportunities through the National Content Program, and reducing the gap between production and demand, between emerging companies and obtaining their first strategic contracts, and between global technology and production lines in the country, which contributes to transforming opportunities into partnerships, and ideas into projects with an economic impact. “Sustainable.”
He added: “The diversity of the ‘Make in the Emirates’ platform reflects the Ministry’s commitment, through the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology, to develop an integrated industrial system based on quality, accelerate the adoption of advanced technology, enhance the flexibility of supply chains, and provide a practical environment to enable investors, manufacturers and entrepreneurs to grow and expand, thus enhancing the readiness of the national economy for continued growth.”
He explained that the platform brings together more than 1,245 exhibiting companies, with a growth of 73% compared to the year 2025, representing 12 vital industrial sectors. This year is also distinguished by the announcement of a purchasing opportunities initiative targeting the localization of 5,000 products in the UAE, with a growth of 4% compared to the year 2025, while small and medium companies, startups, and entrepreneurs constitute 61% of the total participants, which reflects a state of confidence and momentum of available opportunities.
The startup platform focuses on enhancing the ministry’s direction to accelerate the growth of technology-based startups, empowering students and innovators as they are a fundamental pillar of the country’s industrial strategy, and provides a direct environment that connects innovators with investors, financing entities, buyers, and decision-makers, with a focus on scalable ideas and practical solutions that enhance entrepreneurship and open paths to accessing opportunities, contracts, and financing solutions within an advanced industrial system in the Emirates.
The platform also provides participants with practical opportunities to build partnerships and deepen their understanding of growth paths in the national industrial landscape, through competitions, investment opportunity offers, matching programs with investors, meetings between companies and major buyers, in addition to many applied workshops.
The Quality Platform represents the quality infrastructure, which includes specifications, conformity and accreditation systems and programmes, standards and market oversight, an enabling element for products made in the UAE to enhance their competitiveness and access to various global markets.
The pavilion provides a practical, applied awareness experience that includes guidance on specifications, accreditation requirements, and mechanisms for obtaining the necessary conformity certificates.
Through specialized sessions and demonstrations, participants gain a deeper understanding of the role of the “quality infrastructure system” in developing products, supporting their competitiveness in local and international markets, and enhancing confidence in the Emirati product, thus enhancing the system’s position as one of the pillars of national competitiveness.
The Smart Industries Forum highlights advanced industrial technologies, including solutions developed for other sectors and applicable to the industrial sector, which contributes to accelerating innovation across various national value chains in the industrial sector.
The forum includes an elite group of leading international companies from countries with advanced industrial systems and close relations with the UAE, allowing visitors to learn about applications of artificial intelligence, robotics, and solutions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution within realistic operating environments, reflecting the technologies that are reshaping the features of industrial sectors today.
This year’s session will witness the launch of the House of Industry platform, which is the first interactive exhibition of its kind in the country that links the future of the national industry to its historical roots and presents to visitors the journey of development of the Emirati industry from the beginnings of trade and traditional crafts, all the way to advanced manufacturing and the solutions of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the technologies that shape the features of the next stage.
This comes as part of an integrated experience that includes the Ministry’s area and the VIP Council, giving visitors a deeper understanding of the policies, partnerships, and ambitions that lead the country’s industrial march. Through documentaries, timelines, and interactive displays, it addresses different generations, and confirms that what is being achieved today is based on decades of vision and continuous work.
In parallel with the four platforms, the ADNOC Value Connect platform, hosted by ADNOC’s Department of Commercial Affairs and Local Added Value, comes as a specialized platform that connects suppliers, manufacturers, investors and decision-makers, with the aim of enhancing cooperation across supply chains and accelerating industrial localization efforts in the country. The platform provides visitors with a clearer view of the available opportunities and paths of cooperation and growth within national supply chains.
The “Make in the UAE 2026” platform, hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, the “ADNOC” Group, and Al Emad Holding Company, and organized by the “ADNEC” Group, comes to confirm the UAE’s position as a global center for industry and investment, and a leading platform for accelerating sustainable industrial growth.
