The Emirates Blood Donation Association holds its general assembly meeting
Abu Dhabi, May 3 / WAM / The Emirates Blood Donation Association held its annual general assembly meeting in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, in the presence of representatives of the concerned authorities, members of the Board of Directors, and members of the Association, the Association reviewed the achievements of the past year and discussed the financial report and its plans for the next stage.
Dr. Ali Al Ansari, Chairman of the Society’s Board of Directors, stressed during the meeting the Society’s commitment to continuing its humanitarian role in supporting the blood bank services system in the UAE, and promoting the culture of donation through periodic campaigns in line with consolidating the values of giving and social responsibility.
The association discussed the annual report, awareness programs, and the positive impact of initiatives that contribute to saving lives and achieving the association’s vision and humanitarian mission in the fields of volunteer and charitable work.
