Kadana Development and Development CompanyThe executive arm Hajj season 1447 AH, which contributes to facilitating the movement of pilgrims and enhancing levels of comfort and safety, especially in locations that witness high human densities during peak times.
The implementation of the project came through three developmental stages, which began with the first stage in the Hajj season 1445 AH with the installation of 32 ladders, followed by the second stage in the 1446 AH season with the installation of 32 additional ladders, leading to the third and current stage in the Hajj season 1445 AH with the installation of 32 ladders, followed by the second phase in the 1446 AH season with the installation of 32 additional ladders, leading to the third and current phase in the Hajj season 1445 AH with the installation of 32 ladders. 1447 AH, which witnessed the addition of 10 escalators in 8 new locations, bringing the total of escalators implemented to 74 modern escalators, which enhances operational coverage and keeps pace with the needs of the expansion of crowd movement inside the Holy Sites.
Improving the quality of services
The project aims to improve the quality of services and infrastructure inside the Holy Sites, and support the flow of crowd movement in a safer and more organized way, in addition to facilitating the movement of pilgrims and reducing the physical effort expended while moving between the different levels, especially for adults. The elderly and those with health conditions, in addition to reducing the time of movement between camp sites and service facilities, which contributes to raising the efficiency of movement and reducing congestion in traditional corridors and stairs.
Kadana indicated that this project embodies the trend of adopting smart and sustainable solutions that contribute to developing the holy sites and improving the quality of services provided to the guests of God, in a way that enhances the Hajj experience and keeps pace with the Kingdom’s goals in providing integrated and safe services to the guests of God.
