Oil prices rose 6% at settlement, driven by developments in the Middle East

Oil prices rose by about 6% yesterday, Monday, following developments in the Middle East over the past 24 hours.
Brent crude futures increased $6.27, or 5.8%, to reach $114.44 per barrel upon settlement.
While US West Texas Intermediate crude rose $4.48, or 4.4%, to $106.42.
