The stability of the yen and the dollar and the decline of the euro

Today, the yen stabilized in early trading and reached 157.22 against the dollar, following the sharp rise it witnessed in recent sessions.

The euro maintained the losses it incurred overnight, reaching $1.1693 in the latest trading, while the British pound settled at $1.353.

The dollar index, which measures the performance of the US currency against six currencies, settled at 98.452 after rising 0.3 percent yesterday.
