المملكة: The Kingdom condemns the targeting of Khartoum Airport… and calls for respect for Sudan’s sovereignty
Expressed as The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s strong condemnation and denunciation of targeting a site in Khartoum Airport.
The Kingdom affirmed its firm position in calling for the preservation of the unity of Sudan, its legitimate institutions, the capabilities of its brotherly people, and its security and stability, stressing the importance of keeping civilian objects and vital installations away from the conflict.
The Kingdom called on the parties to calm down, immediately stop these violations, and respect what was pledged in the Jeddah Declaration signed on May 11, 2023 regarding the protection of civilians and notables. Civil and international humanitarian law.
The Kingdom also called on the countries neighboring Sudan to respect Sudan’s sovereignty and independence and prevent the use of its lands as a launching pad for these attacks.
