Mohammed Saeed Al Shehhi: Our armed forces are the faithful guardian of the growth and progress we have achieved and are achieving
Abu Dhabi, 6 May / WAM / His Excellency Mohammed Saeed Al Shehhi, Vice Chairman of the National Media Authority, confirmed that the fiftieth anniversary of the unification of the UAE Armed Forces will remain a reason for the pride of the people of the Emirates and the pride of all who live on its land in these forces and in the efficiency of the country’s defense capabilities, which were launched five decades ago from an insightful future vision, to build and develop its capabilities and invest in national cadres, technological leadership, innovation and advanced defense systems.
He added, on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the unification of the armed forces, that today it has achieved the status of a national institution that embodies the highest standards of professionalism, discipline and a spirit of responsibility, and enjoys the confidence of the leadership of the Emirates, its people and all sectors, and contributes to consolidating the country’s position as a reliable partner in maintaining security and enhancing stability regionally and globally.
He said that this integrated national system, which has proven its efficiency, effectiveness and excellence at every stage and test, confirms that it is the faithful guardian of what we have achieved and are achieving in terms of sustainable economic growth, an advanced international position, advanced infrastructure, and major vital investments, and that it will continue its pivotal role as a shield for our nation and a guarantee for a bright and prosperous future, while the UAE strengthens the position that it has well-established and capable in the region and the world.
