The Gulf Cooperation Council strongly rejects the false Iranian allegations against the UAE and affirms its full support for it

The Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, expressed his strong condemnation and denunciation of the false and unacceptable allegations contained in the statement of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs against the United Arab Emirates.

He stressed that these misleading allegations are an extension of the escalatory and provocative approach taken by Iran towards the countries of the region, pointing out that Iran was not satisfied with its brutal attacks that targeted the lands of the UAE, but rather continued its blatant attempts to distort the facts, in flagrant violation of all international norms and laws.

The Secretary-General stressed that what was stated in the Iranian statement reflects a clear determination to inflame tensions and destabilize regional security and stability, and confirms its hostile approach that threatens the security of the region and the peace of its peoples.

He stressed that the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council stand united with the UAE and support all the measures it takes to preserve its security, stability and sovereignty, reiterating that the security of the UAE is an integral part of the security of all Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
