The golden jubilee of the unification of the armed forces… 50 years of pride

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, congratulated members of the valiant armed forces on the 50th anniversary of their unification.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said, in a blog post on the “X” platform, yesterday: “I congratulate my sons and daughters who are members of the valiant armed forces on the 50th anniversary of their unification, which we celebrate with great pride, after its sons wrote a wonderful national epic in defending the sovereignty, land, and security of the Emirates. We recall their sacrifices over the past decades, and their pioneering and continuing national role within the system of our comprehensive renaissance, and we call on With mercy to the righteous martyrs, and to the dear homeland with continued pride, security and prosperity.”

As His Highness said in a second blog post: “You are a flag that your father-in-law is proud of. You are guardians of the seven emirates.”

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, confirmed that on the 50th anniversary of the unification of our armed forces, we celebrate our soldiers, we celebrate our martyrs, and we celebrate the leaders of these forces, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, may God protect him.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said, on his official account on the “X” platform, yesterday: “On the 50th anniversary of the unification of our armed forces, we celebrate our soldiers… We celebrate our martyrs… We celebrate the leaders of these forces, led by the Supreme Commander of our Armed Forces, the President of the State, may God protect him. They are the nation’s shield, its sword, its fortress, its sovereignty, and its security. Proud of our forces… proud of our president… proud of the Emirates.”

His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Presidential Office, also affirmed that our armed forces were and still are the nation’s shield and support, with its men who have dedicated themselves to protecting the UAE flag.
