المملكة: With 6,987 toilets… increasing the efficiency of the purity system in Arafat and Muzdalifah for the 1447 AH season

Kadanah Development and Development Company, the executive arm of the Royal Commission for the Holy City of Makkah and the Holy Sites, explained the continuation of the work to develop the purity system in the Arafat and Muzdalifah sites, within Early preparations for the Hajj season 1447 AH, through the implementation of a specific project aimed at raising Capacity and enhancing field readiness to serve the guests of God.
Updates of the purity system
Kadanah revealed that the updated purity system includes 6,987 fully equipped toilets, distributed among 411 modern complexes in 214 vital locations; The project relied on expanding the use of advanced prefabricated units and replacing old complexes with modern facilities, ensuring that the needs of the increasing number of pilgrims are met and the level of Services provided to them, especially at peak times.
Reducing waiting and improving the level of cleanliness
The project aims to reduce waiting times and improve the level of public cleanliness by providing a safe, healthy environment, with a focus on enhancing the efficiency of water consumption and ensuring the sustainability of operational performance.
These units are distinguished by their high flexibility in distribution and speed of response to the requirements of crowd movement, which contributes directly to raising the quality of life within the holy sites and facilitating the performance of rituals with ease and reassurance.
This expansion comes as an extension of the leadership in sustaining the reconstruction of the holy sites, through adopting smart engineering solutions that improve the infrastructure and keep pace with the Kingdom’s aspirations to provide integrated and quality services to the guests of God, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
