Rashid bin Hamdan receives Al-Nasr teams
Dubai, May 19 / WAM / Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Al Nasr Sports Club, received the club’s team and individual sports teams, following a season full of achievements, which culminated in winning 25 local championships during the 2025-2026 sports season.
The reception was attended by His Excellency Mattar Mohammed Al Tayer, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Club’s Council of Honor, and His Excellency Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Chairman of the Club’s Board of Directors, along with the new members of the Council of Honor, led by Sheikh Maktoum bin Hasher Al Maktoum, who affirmed their pride in joining this ancient sporting edifice, and their commitment to supporting the club’s progress and enhancing its sporting and societal standing.
The meeting was also attended by members of the club’s board of directors and the board of directors of Al-Nasr Sports Company.
Sheikh Rashid bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum praised the efforts of the players and the technical and administrative staff, stressing that what was achieved reflects the spirit of teamwork, strategic planning and sustainable support for the club’s sports sector.
He said that this honorable harvest came as a result of the hard work and integration between the club’s various systems, calling for continued efforts to preserve the gains and enhance the process of success, in a way that consolidates the club’s position at the forefront of Emirati sports.
For his part, His Excellency Mattar Mohammed Al Tayer stressed that the ambitious vision of the club president contributed to establishing an integrated institutional approach that supports development and excellence in various sports and sports activities, indicating that the continued successes reflect a strategy based on sound planning, investment in competencies, and building a sports system capable of achieving sustainable achievements.
In turn, His Excellency Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalaita expressed his appreciation for the reception given to the club’s teams, praising the cooperation and integration between the Honor Council, the Executive Committee and the boards of directors, and appreciating the efforts of the executive body and all club employees.
For his part, His Excellency Abdul Razzaq Al-Sayed Al-Hashemi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Nasr Sports Company, praised the pioneering role of the Honor Council and the fruitful integration with the club’s Board of Directors, stressing that this teamwork provided the company and its teams with the ideal environment to achieve these record achievements.
