Sultan Al Qasimi performs Eid Al Adha prayer at Sharjah Mosque

Sharjah, 27 May / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, this morning, performed the Eid Al-Adha prayer at the Sharjah Mosque.

Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Abdul Rahman Al Qasimi, Head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Head of the Department of Statistics and Community Development, Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Head of the Suburbs Affairs Department, Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Charitable Society, Sheikh Saud bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director General of the Sharjah Digital Department, and Sheikh Saif bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Assistant Secretary-General, led the prayer alongside their Highnesses. The Arab Parliament for Children, and a number of sheikhs and senior officials.

His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Mansour delivered a blessed Eid al-Adha sermon in which he discussed the fruits of monotheism with which God sent the Messengers, stressing that the religion of Islam is based on devotion to God Almighty and following the Sunnah of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, citing the words of God Almighty, “And whatever the Messenger gives you, take it,” indicating the features of the correct approach based on moderation and moderation away from extremism and negligence, explaining that the righteousness of hearts is through fear of God and obedience to Him. Touching on the virtue of the Day of Sacrifice as it is one of the greatest days, and the reward of honoring the ritual of sacrifice.

Al-Khatib discussed the greatest thing that God can grant his servant the opportunity to do, which is to provide him with a good wife and good offspring who will help him in obedience and uprightness. He stressed the importance of building the family on sound religious and moral foundations, because the family has a major role in raising children and developing good values in their souls. He called for the necessity of seizing the seasons of goodness through obedience and good deeds, and ensuring that children are raised correctly based on the tolerant teachings of the Islamic religion, and instilling the values of respect and cooperation. And love between them, in addition to promoting the values of tolerance, forgiveness, and family ties, and rejecting hatred, differences, and everything that leads to division between members of society, which contributes to consolidating societal cohesion and love among people.

He concluded his Eid Al-Adha sermon, praying to God Almighty to extend the happy holidays to the UAE with security and safety, and to preserve the wise leadership, the people of the Emirates, and those residing on its land, and to grant them good health and continued well-being, and that God accept the pilgrims’ rituals, make their Hajj accepted and their sins forgiven, and return them to their homelands safe and sound.
