This morning, His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, and His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, performed Eid al-Adha prayers at Al Zaher Palace Mosque in Ajman.

His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah Al-Qaidi led the worshipers and delivered a sermon on Eid Al-Adha entitled “Our Eid is Honesty and Sacrifice,” in which he stressed that Eid is a faith occasion in which the meanings of obedience, sacrifice and loyalty are renewed, and it recalls the values ​​of compliance and steadfastness embodied in the life of the Prophet of God Abraham, peace be upon him, and the sincerity of belonging, sincerity in work, and fulfillment of responsibilities that the occasion establishes in souls.

Al-Khatib said that honesty is a comprehensive quality upon which relationships are established, responsibilities are established, and trust is established between the individual, his community, and his country. He pointed out that it is not limited to words, but rather extends to work and positions, preserving trusts, preserving the nation’s gains, and fulfilling duties.

He added that sacrifice on the Day of Sacrifice carries meanings of generosity and altruism, and reminds the Muslim that giving is an established value in building families and societies, and that serving the nation, honoring one’s parents, maintaining ties of kinship, and being kind to people are practical images of the meanings of Eid and its lofty purposes.

The sermon emphasized that the homeland is exalted by the sincerity of belonging and the loyalty of its people, and that the greatest sacrifices are made for the sake of its glory, protection, and preserving its dignity and glory, indicating that a person’s status in his homeland and society is elevated by the amount of giving, sacrifice, and sincerity he offers.

Al-Qaidi stressed the importance of mastering the work of each person in his position, and performing the mission with sincerity and responsibility, in a way that contributes to the nation’s advancement and prosperity, and enhances the spirit of cooperation, compassion, and cohesion among members of society.

He called on worshipers to make the Eid an opportunity to spread joy in homes and happiness in society, strengthen family and social ties, exchange congratulations, spread love and peace, and be honest and sacrificial in word and deed, in a way that establishes the values ​​of affection and harmony.

At the conclusion of the sermon, the preacher directed a prayer to God Almighty to protect the UAE, its leadership, its people, and the residents of its land, and to perpetuate the blessing of security, stability and prosperity, and to have mercy on the founding leaders and martyrs of the nation.

After performing the prayer, His Highness the Ruler of Ajman and His Highness the Crown Prince exchanged congratulations on this blessed Islamic occasion with sheikhs, senior officials, notables and notables of the country, and crowds of worshipers.
