المملكة: "Food and medicine" Signing a memorandum of understanding with the Russian Pharmaceutical Institute
In the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy, I signed A memorandum of understanding with the Government Institute for Pharmaceuticals and Good Practices in the Russian Federation, on the sidelines of the twenty-ninth session of International Economic Conference, which is held in the city of Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation.
The memorandum was signed by Executive Vice President of the Operations Sector, Sami Al-Saqr, while it was signed by the Director of the State Institute of Pharmaceuticals and Good Practices, Vladislav Shestakov, on the Russian side.
The Food and Drug Authority confirmed that the levels of fluoride in bottled drinking water are subject to strict mandatory regulatory requirements, denying that their determination is left to the discretion of manufacturers, in order to ensure a balance of health benefits and protect the safety of consumers.

The memorandum of understanding aims to cooperate and exchange experiences regarding regulations and technical regulations related to good manufacturing practices, quality management systems for pharmaceutical inspection, and training specialized personnel on them, in addition to exchanging the best regulatory and supervisory practices related to pharmaceutical products.
The Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum is one of the most prominent global economic platforms, as it brings together leaders of countries Officials, decision-makers, and representatives of major companies and institutions to discuss economic and development issues and the future of international cooperation.
