The Turkish series “At Seventeen” imposed itself as a strong competitor among a large group of Turkish series that began showing this season, as the first episode of the series exceeded the 10 million views barrier, only three days after its showing, and the views continued to increase. It exceeded 14 million views, one week after its release.

The name of the series has invaded social media platforms, Turkish news sites in particular, and international and Arab sites interested in Turkish drama news in general, so much so that since its first showing, it has been classified as one of the most prominent Turkish youth works this year.

The successes of the first episode did not stop at the number of viewers on the YouTube platform, as the channel dedicated to its presentation witnessed another record setting, as the number of its subscribers reached 406 thousand subscribers in a record time, and according to what was reported by the Turkish press, all advertisements related to the series, on various platforms, received 22 million views.

The second episode achieved nearly two million views, a few hours after it was shown, which confirms the audience’s desire to follow its events, especially after the great success achieved by the first episode.

The journey of searching for identity…and buried secrets:

The story of the series revolves around a young man named “Aras”, who is 17 years old. He spent his entire childhood in orphanages after he separated from his sister, then suddenly decided to start searching for her and for his hidden past. In order to find out his true identity.

Events begin to unfold after that, revealing many buried family secrets, the discovery of which turns Aras’ life upside down.

The series relies on a harmonious mix of suspense-filled family drama and youth drama, with a strong focus on the emotional side, in addition to the main story of the series, which is the search for identity.

The series is distinguished by its realistic content, close to people’s issues, and its in-depth treatment of the topics it raises, in addition to being one of the works that targets young people in particular, and adults in general.

After receiving thousands of positive comments, the series has become a strong candidate to be the audience’s favorite work this summer, and among the notable comments that came after the showing of its first episode: “We really needed a series like this,” “It is developing beautifully and has attracted me very much,” “It seems that it will be my favorite summer series,” and also “Every scene in it is wonderful,” and someone commented: “How many of us re-watched the episode at night… and then in the morning?”

Filming the entire series in the coastal city of Bodrum, off the Greek coast, added a special character to its events, increased the beauty of its scenes, and gave it a distinctive character.
