The UAE Equestrian Federation reviews its 2026-2031 strategy

Dubai, June 14 / WAM / The Board of Directors of the Emirates Equestrian and Racing Federation, headed by His Excellency Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, in its third meeting yesterday evening in Dubai, reviewed the 2026-2031 strategy, the statute, and plans for the next stage.

The meeting also discussed the Union’s ongoing efforts to develop its services, enhance the process of digital transformation, employ artificial intelligence technologies in the services provided to beneficiaries, adopt smart solutions to enhance the quality of services, and continue working to develop and expand the scope of digital services.

His Excellency Major General Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al-Raisi extended his thanks and appreciation to the wise leadership for the great support for equestrian sports, and said that the sustainable achievements achieved during the past period crown the continuous efforts to raise this sport to the best levels in the world.

He explained that what was achieved did not come out of nowhere, but rather was a consolidation of these efforts, in addition to the great cooperation from equestrian villages, clubs and stables, noting the increase in the number of owners and riders, the interest in activities and events, the health of horses, and the application of the laws of the International Federation.

He stressed that the federation’s strategy for the coming years is based on its future vision for equestrian sports and its development, especially since the UAE, with its prestigious position, leads the world in this sport through outstanding achievements over the decades and its preservation.

The President of the Union announced the establishment of a specific and precise mechanism to follow up on the indicators of this strategy, and to adopt artificial intelligence in the services provided by the Union, according to smart mechanisms according to the established plan, to keep pace with the country’s national trends.

He stressed the importance of working to preserve the qualitative gains achieved by equestrian sports, to consolidate the UAE’s global position and its pioneering role in the fields of equestrianism, develop it, improve the capabilities of its riders, and empower them with competitive skills, to raise the UAE flag on the podiums.

Dr. Ghanem Al Hajri, Secretary-General, explained the federation’s keenness to continue developing the infrastructure of the work system according to an integrated strategy, digitizing services, and using artificial intelligence at the best levels, in line with the strategies of the Ministry of Sports, noting that the meeting touched on the distinguished results in the ending season, and documenting these achievements because they represent a great legacy in the Emirati equestrian journey.

Her Excellency Namah Al Mansouri, a member of the Federation’s Board of Directors, said that qualitative development and upgrading the institutional work system are important priorities in the Federation’s vision and strategy, which it is working to implement, to enhance the UAE’s position in equestrian sports.

She explained that the Federation is keen to empower Emirati women, develop their capabilities, provide them with a stimulating and encouraging environment, ways to excel and develop them, improve their skills in equestrian sports, and participate in various tournaments, especially since they have shown great potential in various competitions and achieved advanced positions.
