المملكة: Amending 3 items in the decision to organize the unified national platform for visas – urgent
Acknowledge amend the organization of , granting owns the platform and its technical development.
The decision aims to unify efforts and govern the distribution of roles among government agencies to ensure work efficiency.
Unified National Platform for Visas
The government amendment stipulates that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will undertake the construction of the platform to be the approved national interface in this regard.
The decision also granted the Ministry the authority to determine the party hosting the platform, in agreement with the National Cybersecurity Authority and the Digital Government Authority.
The decision issued by the Council included the deletion of the sixth clause from the decision. Previous related to regulating the visa platform.
These legislative amendments seek to strengthen the governance of technical procedures, and precisely define administrative and operational responsibilities.
The approval came based on a cable sent by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and after the completion of the study of the file by the relevant committees.
Processing the transaction
The studies included memorandums from the expert panel, and minutes from the Councils of Political and Security Affairs, and Economic Affairs and Development.
The last amendment was based on the recommendation of the General Committee of the Council of Ministers to address the transaction received from the Royal Court.
This procedure comes as an update to Resolution No. 559 issued in the month of Shawwal of the year 1443 AH.
