New US sanctions on an Iranian network exploiting navigation in the Strait of Hormuz

Forced The US Treasury on Wednesday imposed additional sanctions on two companies that play a pivotal role in an Iranian plot targeting transiting ships The Iranian Revolutionary Guard.
It stressed that it will not allow Iran to take global trade hostage, or exploit international shipping traffic to finance the activities of the Revolutionary Guard, stressing the continuation of targeting parties involved in these practices and disrupting their sources of revenue.
