100 thousand medical and therapeutic services provided by South Sinai hospitals since the beginning of 2025
Dr. Ahmed Al -Sobky, Chairman of the General Authority for Health Care, the General Supervisor of the Comprehensive Health Insurance Project, announced the achievement of a major boom in medical and treatment services provided to the people of South Sinai, noting that more than 100 thousand medical and treatment services are provided in the authority’s hospitals in the governorate since the beginning of 2025 until now. The efficiency of medical services, according to the latest international standards, in implementation of the vision of the political leadership in developing the health system and achieving comprehensive health coverage of all citizens. The comprehensive, noting that the plan includes the expansion of the operation of 8 hospitals in the governorate with the completion of the comprehensive health insurance system, in a manner that ensures the achievement of integration in medical services and the provision of advanced health care that meets the needs of citizens. And 43 thousand medical and laboratory examinations, in addition to performing advanced and specialized surgeries, as 50% of the operations were made by major, skillful and special operations, reflecting the level of modern equipment and technologies that were provided to support therapeutic services in the governorate. The promotion of the quality of life for its residents, stressing that the authority continues to develop and modernize the health care system in the governorate & nbsp; by expanding medical services and achieving integration between hospitals and health facilities, in a manner that ensures the provision of health services with international quality standards, in support of sustainable development goals and Egypt’s 2030 vision.
