Modern and unprecedented in appearance…Saudi stadiums for the 2034 World Cup
Today, Wednesday, the organizing committee for the Saudi 2034 World Cup finals revealed models of 15 modern stadiums that will host World Cup matches in five cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, NEOM, Al-Khobar, and Abha.
Today, Wednesday, the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) announced that Saudi Arabia had won the organization of the 2034 World Cup during the General Assembly meeting, and FIFA had given the Saudi bid an unprecedentedly high evaluation in the history of the bids of countries applying to host the World Cup since its inception in 1930, where it received the award. 4.18 out of 5, describing the risks as moderate, while describing the 2026 and 2030 World Cup files as “high risk” and with a lower rating than the Saudi file.
Saudi Arabia hosts 48 teams in 15 stadiums, some of which have been redesigned again, namely: King Fahd Sports City Stadium, King Salman International Stadium, King Saud University Stadium, New Murabba Stadium, Prince Faisal bin Fahd Sports City Stadium, Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium, and… Roshen Stadium, south of Riyadh.
