The women’s national squash team was crowned the World Team Championship for the sixth time in its history, after defeating America with a score of (2-0), during the final match, which was held in Hong Kong.
In the first match, Rawan El Araby won over Marina Stefanoni with a score of (3-1), and the results of the rounds were (11-6), (12-10), (6-11), (11-9).
Nour El-Sherbiny also won the second match against Olivia Weaver with a score of (3-1), and the result of the rounds was: (7-11), ( 11-6), (11-7), (11-7).
The third match was not played, considering its result as a win, and thus the national team was crowned world champion. For the fourth time in a row And sixth in its history.
The national squash team is represented in the World Championship by 4 players: Nour El-Sherbiny, ranked second in the world, Hania Al-Hamami, ranked third, Rawan El-Arabi, ranked seventh, and Amina Arfi, ranked third.
