The deposed South Korean president again refuses to appear before the investigation body
Deposed South Korean President Yoon Suk-yul on Wednesday refused to summon a joint investigation team to question him over his short-lived declaration of martial law, the second time he has refused to comply with the team’s request, Yonhap News Agency reported.
Yoon did not appear before the corruption investigation body for senior officials in Gwacheon, south of the capital, Seoul, as he was requested to do by 1000 a.m. local time, as part of a joint investigation into his declaration of martial law on December 3.

Yoon faces charges of being a sedition leader and abuse of power by declaring martial law in the joint investigation.
He did not comply with the first summons sent to him by the Information Service last Wednesday.
