Jenny Celly, a countryside music icon, died of Grammy Award, at the age of 85.

Ciley achieved wide fame through a number of successful songs, most notably “Don’t Touch Me”, which she won the Grammy Award in 1967, and was then twenty -six years old, which made her one of the youngest artists who won this award since its inception in 1959, and remained within this category for a long time.

According to the newspaper “Mirror”, the success of Ciley extended for decades, as the artist coming from the city of Titosville in Pennsylvania was known for her unique voice and distinctive style, which gave her the title “Queen of Rural Soul Music”.

She was one of the first women to entered the Kantry music world, and was distinguished by her bold personality and a series of classic songs she released during the 1960s and 1970s.

During her artistic career, which spanned more than 60 years, Ciley participated in the famous radio program “Grand First” about 5400 times, becoming her name linked to one of the most important American countryside platforms.

Despite her candidacy for several Grammy Awards, Ciley was known for its rebellious character, as it was one of the first artists to challenge the traditions by wearing the short skirt on the stage, at a time when countryside music required women to adhere to a conservative and subject.
