The special screening of the film “In Search of a Way Out for Mr. Rambo” was held in one of the cinemas in the 6th of October area, in the presence of the film’s stars, artists Issam Omar, Rakeen Saad, Ahmed Bahaa, Samaa Ibrahim, producers Mohamed Hefzy, Rasha Hosni, director Khaled Mansour, and screenwriter Mohamed Al-Husseini, and stars also attended. Several to support the film’s heroes, including Ahmed Malik, Sarah Abdel Rahman, and others.

 

 

Director Khaled Mansour said that he is very happy to show the film in Egyptian cinemas. Despite the strong presence that the film has demonstrated in international festivals, he made the film primarily for the sake of the audience first, and is eagerly awaiting the reactions here.

The artist Issam Omar said about the secret of his attraction to the character Hassan, which he played during the film, saying that the secret is in the idea of ​​abandonment, as his father abandoned him in childhood and he does not want to abandon Rambo as happened to him, as Hassan’s character has internal emotions and does not talk much.

Essam added that Rambo is a popular film with which they were able to break the barrier of festival films, as it is suitable for both, and he is happy with all the reception the film has received at all international festivals, and now he is excited about the audience’s reactions in cinemas in Egypt.

 

 

As producer Mohamed Hefzy spoke, he was very excited about the film, as he is always excited about the first works, especially if they are single, and the idea of ​​showing it at international festivals was something he expected, because the film is not only artistic but also humanitarian, as the film’s hero is a security guard who adopts a dog. However, the film discusses a social issue through its view of humans and animals.

 

While producer Rasha Hosni spoke about the scenes of filming with the dog, stressing that dealing with dogs is not easy at all, and they used specialized trainers and the dogs were trained for two months after the research trip and vaccinations because they were street dogs.

Rasha added that she believed in the film and its idea, and worked on the film not only as a producer, but also worked on securing a budget to finance it and participated in the search for laboratories to develop the script.

 

Actress Rakeen Saad said that the film is very close to the people, as its characters are real and express them, so they liked it to be shown in cinema as well as festivals, and that the character of Asmaa, which she plays during the film, is very influential during the events, as she is of an average nature, and she is Rakeen who has never presented this style before. The personality is characterized by some sensitivity, but at the same time it is self-reliant.

The artist, Samaa Ibrahim, expressed her great happiness at the first show with the Egyptian audience here in her country and was very excited, and confirmed that she had fun behind the scenes with Essam Omar and the rest of the team and director Khaled Mansour.

Samaa added that she enjoyed the scenes very much, as the only difficulty was filming in the cold. Other than that, Khaled Mansour is a distinguished, promising and intelligent director who pays attention to all the details.

 

While the artist Ahmed Bahaa said that what attracted him most to the film was the scenario and the wonderful idea of ​​Muhammad Al-Husseini and Khaled Mansour, and he spent many months studying for it and had several working sessions.

Bahaa added that he is excited and worried about showing the film in Egyptian cinemas, as this is the real test facing the Egyptian audience. Despite it being shown in several international festivals and the disappointment it met with, Egypt has a different taste.

 

The screenwriter, Mohamed Al-Husseini, spoke about his writing journey for the film, stressing that the idea came to Khaled Mansour first and presented it to him, then they began working on it for many years alongside their work. Al-Husseini added that the last draft that was shown was No. 13, so he is very excited to show it to the Egyptian audience.

It is noteworthy that the movie “Searching for a Way Out for Mr. Rambo” will start showing on January 1 in Egyptian theaters and January 9 in the Gulf region.
