The Authority has identified 6 general obligations for users of railways within cities, which are the obligation to possess a valid ticket throughout the trip, obligations related to luggage and other materials, obligations for passengers with disabilities and limited mobility, obligations related to the use of means and transportation facilities, adherence to the conditions of the trip, and compliance with safety requirements.
She explained that the ticket is not considered valid if the passenger fails to prove its validity, or if it is changed without consulting the carrier after it was issued or forged.
“Dangerous” prohibited items in vehicles
The passenger is prohibited, whether on board the vehicle or in any of the stations or facilities, from carrying materials that are not permitted to be transported according to the carrier’s policy, or if the passenger cannot carry them himself, or if they are dangerous or flammable materials, or are likely to cause injury, or Obstructing other passengers, or the carrier’s employees, or which is likely to cause damage to the means or facilities, and he bears responsibility for supervising his hand luggage and the items he takes with him; Including animals.
The Authority obligated passengers with disabilities or limited mobility who use wheelchairs or any other mobility equipment to enter the vehicle through the entrances designated to serve them, and to ensure that their wheelchairs or mobility equipment are properly placed in the designated area on board the vehicle.
She stressed not to misuse the designated vehicle parking facility where the service is provided, and this includes the passenger leaving his private car in those parking areas outside the acceptable limits of use, or misusing the parking meters, or parking his vehicle in unauthorized areas or parking lots.

The Authority prohibited the operation of any device that makes a loud or annoying sound to others. Such as radios, telephones, or other similar devices without earphones, whether at stations or means of transportation. Passengers must also put their phones on silent mode and not talk loudly on the phone during the trip, especially long trips, and put bags or other things on the seats. .
It obliges the passenger to adhere to sitting in the seat designated for him only, and if there are people with disabilities, the elderly, or families with children, he must change seats.
The Authority stressed following security and safety guidelines, including not misusing any security or safety devices or equipment. Including emergency exits, alarm and emergency equipment except in cases of necessity, and not removing the hands, legs, part of the body, or anything else from the windows or doors, or placing the feet on the seats.
It is prohibited to engage in actions or discussions that would harass or intimidate passengers, including acts of violence, threats, vandalism, or violent behavior that is likely to provoke a violent reaction, or threatening to cause harm to the service or disruption of related operations.
The authority called on passengers to immediately report any safety risk, broken or malfunctioning equipment, any suspicious activity, strange smell, or unattended package.
Passengers waiting at stations must not let their children play on passenger loading docks or near the path of the means of transportation, and they must not attempt to approach it until it stops completely.
