The Ukrainian Air Force announces the downing of 46 Russian drones

The Ukrainian Air Force announced on Thursday that Ukrainian air defenses shot down 46 out of 70 enemy drones launched by Russia on Ukrainian territory last night.
The statement said that Russian forces launched attacks on Ukraine during the night, using 70 decoy drones, launched from the Russian regions of Millerovo, Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

The statement added that by 9:00 am on Thursday, Ukrainian forces shot down 46 Shahed drones and other models over the regions of Poltava, Sumy, Kharkov, Cherkasy, Chernigov, Kiev, Dnipro, Kherson and Mykolaiv.
24 decoy drones disappeared from radar screens, while the statement indicated that private homes in the Kharkov, Sumy and Cherkasy regions were damaged as a result of falling debris from the downed drones.
