Candlelight dinner… How did Trump spend the last days before the official inauguration?

The world is hours away from President-elect Donald Trump assuming his new position as the 47th President of the United States of America, and the second American president to hold the position for two non-consecutive terms.
Before the inauguration and official takeover, Trump attended several official and entertainment events, as follows:

• Visit Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia, his first visit to the sacred military cemetery since 2024.

• The arrival of US President-elect Donald Trump, accompanied by his wife Melania, his daughter Ivanka, and her husband Jared Kushner, to Washington, DC, on board Air Force One sent to him by outgoing President Joe Biden to the headquarters of the Republican president-elect in Palm Beach, Florida.
• After arriving at Dulles Airport on the outskirts of Virginia, Trump headed to his golf club in Sterling, Virginia, on the outskirts of Washington.
• Artist Leo Days, an Elvis Presley impersonator, sang for the president-elect and first lady before a reception for about 500 guests and a fireworks display.

• Trump attended the candlelight dinner (23:00 CET): With selected guests in attendance, Trump gave a speech about his vision for the future.
