By crossing Biden .. Trump’s speech in Congress attracts 36.6 million viewers
US President Donald Trump attracted about 36.6 million viewers during his speech to Congress on Tuesday night, Wednesday, according to Nielsen, which specializes in measuring viewership.
This exceeded the number of viewers of the case of the last union of former President Joe Biden last year, which reached 32.2 million viewers, but he is less than any of Trump’s annual speeches against Congress during his first term, according to Nielsen.
TV viewing rates declined
Trump’s first speech to Congress in 2017 was 47.7 million views, but television viewing rates in general have declined since then.
Nielsen’s measurement included views through 15 different TV channels, including the channels that were broadcast on digital broadcasting platforms.
Fox News, which is very popular with Trump supporters, dominated the viewing of 10.7 million people, while ABC recorded about 6.3 million, CPS4 million, and BBC 3.9 million, while Fox for free broadcasting channel won 2.7 million.
CNN and MNBC got 1.9 million viewers each.
Nielsen reported that 71% of Trump’s TV viewers were 55 years old and over.
