Jeddah’s second health gathering launches a “deafening” campaign to enhance healthy life in Ramadan

The second Jeddah Health Assembly launched the “Deaf Health” campaign, which aims to enhance the healthy lifestyle during the holy month of Ramadan, by providing awareness programs and integrated health services that encourage community members to follow healthy habits that contribute to improving the quality of life. The campaign focuses on three main axes that include conducting 8 laboratory tests that include diabetes, fat, liver and kidney function, iron level, and vitamin D in health care centers Initial, the second axis is committed to exercising 8000 steps per day to stimulate physical activity, and the third axis comes, including getting 8 hours of sleep per day to support public health and enhance sleep quality during the holy month.

In the context of the campaign, the gathering organized a sports event in the desalination walkway in Jeddah, which witnessed the participation of the second health gathering leaders and hospital directors, and the provision of direct health services such as measuring vital signs, and an awareness corner of the importance of the campaign.

The gathering expanded the scope of the campaign by launching it in the field in a number of commercial markets, public complexes and public parks, through interactive pillars offered: medical and nutritional consultations, the provision of influenza vaccine, drug consultations, and measuring vital signs, in addition to advice on exercise during fasting.

The launch of the campaign comes as part of the second Jeddah health gathering efforts in achieving the target of health transformation, raising the quality and efficiency of health services, and enabling community members to make healthy decisions during the month of Ramadan, which reflects positively on their health and the quality of their lives.
