70 paintings .. The Fine Arts Group is creative in the Garden of Tarot Castle

The “Bustan Tarot Castle” event witnessed a large number of visitors at the art exhibition held by the Fine Arts Group in Qatif, where 70 heritage paintings were shown inspired by old houses, farms and Tarot Castle, reflecting the beauty of the rich heritage of the region.
The plastic artist Abbas Al -Ruqyah, head of the Fine Arts Group in Qatif, explained that this is the fourth participation of the group in the Effect of Bustan Tarot Castle.

He added that the event includes three main sections: the art exhibition, the direct drawing department, and the children’s studio.
He pointed out that the art exhibition focuses especially on heritage, due to the nature of the event and its location near the Tarot Castle in the center of Deira.

Various artistic paintings

Al -Ruqi said that the various artistic paintings attracted visitors, and dealt with topics such as old houses, farms and Tarot Castle, in addition to other elements of the region’s heritage in general.
Al -Ruqi added that the direct drawing corner witnessed the participation of artists and artists who drew the surrounding environment using acrylic colors.
He stressed the importance of direct drawing in attracting visitors, as it allows them to directly interact with the artist and follow the process of artistic creativity step by step.

An opportunity to interact

Al -Ruqi explained: “The artist is usually in his studio, but in these activities he is in the field, which allows the visitor the opportunity to interact with him directly, ask questions about the painting and colors used, and benefit from the artistic experience in general.”
Al -Ruqi pointed out the importance of children’s activities that aim to attract them to this type of art and enhance their interest in heritage and plastic art.
