المملكة: An epic led by the Crown Prince … the memory of the storm of firmness that restored hope for Yemen
The “Storm Storm” started in response to the request of Yemeni President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi to protect legitimacy in Yemen, remove the threat to the security of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and neighboring countries, and work to combat the threat of terrorist organizations, and prepare to resume the political process in accordance with the Gulf initiative, its executive mechanism and the outcomes of the comprehensive national dialogue conference.
With the Kingdom, the Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Sudan, Pakistan participated with the Kingdom.
His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, arrived on the same day, at the Air Force Operations Center to lead the Al -Hazm storm operation, whose operations were launched at 12 o’clock in the middle of the night, and His Highness supervised the first air strike on Yemen, which resulted in the destruction of the entire air defenses, the Dailami base, the poisonous missile batteries and four warplanes, without any losses in the Saudi Air Force, praise be to God.
The legitimate Yemeni government
Yemen left the diplomatic missions and Gulf nationals, Arabs and foreigners, after calls from several countries, while the Saudi Navy postponed dozens of Saudi, Arab and foreign diplomats from the city of Aden south of Yemen to the city of Jeddah on the sea in a special operation in which the Saudi Royal Navy contributed to supporting the storm storm operation called the “Hurricane Operation”.
Storm Storm strikes
The Al -Hazm Storm Alliance began its military operations with the participation of 228 warplanes from the Arab coalition and with international support, as the Royal Saudi Air Force participated in 100 combat aircraft and the UAE Air Force with 30 warplanes, the Kuwaiti Air Force with 15 warplanes, the Bahraini Air Force with 15 warplanes, the Qatar Air Force with 10 warplanes, the Jordanian Royal Air Force with 6 warplanes, the Royal Moroccan Air Force with 6 warplanes, and the forces Egyptian air with 16 warplanes, and the Sudanese Air Force with 3 warplanes.
These aircraft carried out 2415 raids on specific locations over 27 days, and at a flight of 648 hours, and took control of the Yemeni airspace in the first 15 minutes of the start of operations.
The operations of imposing control of Yemen’s airspace to neutralize the military bases and airports lost by the legitimate government did not stop, preventing them from using the Air Force or any airspace against coalition operations, and destroying the leadership and control centers from which operations are managed, so that the coalition announces that the Yemeni airspace is a banned area and warned against approaching Yemeni ports.
Returning hope for the Yemeni people
After 27 days of the coalition operations, the storm storm operations were announced to start another operation, which is the process of “restoring hope” to restore hope to the Yemeni people and confirm that the Yemeni government will support its presence on Yemeni lands and continue to build a safe and stable Yemen.
One of the main tasks of “re -hope” is to support relief, evacuation and humanitarian work inside Yemen and facilitate their potential through the continuation of humanitarian and relief actions.
Providing aid to Yemen
Those decisions, which came after the security and political circumstances that their country was exposed to, as a result of the Houthi coup against Yemeni legitimacy, affirmed the originality of the positions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and devoted an authentic Saudi approach, starting from the close relationship between the two brotherly peoples who have the relations of brotherhood, neighborhood, fate and common vision.
