Ajman enhances environmental control with more than 1500 examinations in 2024
Ajman, March 26 / WAM / The Municipal and Planning Department – Ajman announced the results of the environmental laboratory tests during the year 2024, which amounted to 1,571 samples, as part of its continuous efforts to preserve the environment and sustain its resources.
Dr. Eng. Khaled Moeen Al -Hosani, Executive Director of the Public Health and Environment Sector, affirmed the department’s firm commitment to preserving the environment, as it puts this goal at the forefront of its plans, projects and initiatives, in a manner that ensures the achievement of the best desired results.
The tests conducted by the environment laboratory include a wide range of samples such as solid and liquid factories waste, sea water, cosmetics, organic fertilizers, and other environmental samples, as these tests aim to ensure that samples match the legislation, environmental regulations and local and international specifications.
Al -Hosani appreciated the efforts of specialized cadres that continue to monitor and periodic inspection campaigns against industrial, professional and environmental facilities, monitoring the marine environment, treated wastewater, and liquid waste issued by factories, in a manner that ensures adherence to environmental standards.
