The volcanic eruption in Iceland is receding and seismic activity is still ongoing

A volcanic eruption in the Icelandic Peninsula of the Icelandic Peninsula caused it to be rapidly, with no visual activity, today, Wednesday, in the south west of Rekevik.
The Icelandic Meteorological Agency said that only a glowing embers can be seen in the lava field. Despite the weakness of volcanic eruptions, seismic activity is still underground and the deformities caused by magma continues.
The authority indicated that a wave of earthquakes continued, accompanied by thousands of tremors, until Wednesday morning. The eruption began, on Tuesday morning, the eleventh on the peninsula since March 2021 and the eighth since December 2023.

Lava

At its peak, Recianis’s incision extended to about 1,200 meters, which led to the ejaculation of lava molten on the surface.
While the volcanic eruptions in this area with low population density usually pose a small threat to human life, previous activities have caused damage to infrastructure.

A famous tourist teacher

The lava earlier arrived at homes in the hunting Grendfic town, which was evacuated, and in November, it extended to the parking of the Blue Lagoon thermal resort, a famous tourist landmark.
This time, the volcanic lava penetrated a protective barrier north of Grendfic, which also shredded a hot water tube. However, the authorities reassured the residents that there is no imminent danger to the town, and it was evacuated again as a precaution.
