Greenpis Middle East honors young innovators in the field of sustainability in the Emirates

Ajman, April 11 / WAM / Greenpis announced the Middle East and North Africa, in cooperation with Ajman University and the university climate network for the names of the winners of the “Welfare Economy in the Emirates”, a leading initiative that honors the qualitative contributions of young researchers and innovators in the field of sustainability and innovation in the UAE and the Gulf Cooperation Council region.

This came during the award ceremony, which was held under the slogan “sustainable future”, with the aim of highlighting the exceptional achievements achieved by academics and those with ambitious visions and creative minds, whose efforts are consistent with the goals of the sustainability of the UAE, and they offer practical solutions that contribute to the formation of the features of the global policy road map.

The ceremony witnessed the honoring of the engineer, Nawal Al -Hinai, Director of the Future Energy Department at the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, with the award for the best government project for its research entitled “Building a sustainable well -being economy: The UAE’s march towards a sustainable future through the transformation of energy” in addition to honoring three researchers for their leading contributions in the field of sustainability and well -being.

The first prize was awarded to Al -Radhi’s statement, and Dr. Samer Zayoud from Ajman University for their research entitled “Enable the future of renewable energy in the UAE using high -efficiency solar cells.

While the second prize went to Dr. Muhammad Al -Saidi from Umm Al Quwain University for his research, “Building and expecting an index of hybrid welfare for the UAE: a comparison between the approach based on data and the equal weight approach.”

The third prize was the share of Naglaa Al -Matroushi and Nicole Weber from the Sorbonne University of Abu Dhabi for their research, “The Economies of Desert Protection: Re -visualizing the Welfare of the Gulf through vital simulation, the ethics that are not stationed around man, and post -rentier contexts.”
