The spokesperson for the National Meteorological Center, Hussein Al -Qahtani, confirmed that most of the Kingdom’s regions have already started preparing to receive the summer, noting that we are currently living in the transitional period between spring and summer, as temperatures began to rise concretely, especially in the afternoon.

He added that the general climate feature of the Kingdom’s summer remains always linked to the high temperatures, pointing to the importance of taking the necessary precautions under these circumstances..
Al -Qahtani indicated that the Hajj season this year coincides with the summer, which is the last Hajj season in the summer before it begins to move towards the other seasons, and will not return to the summer until after about 16 years.
He indicated that the National Meteorological Center works to prepare the necessary reports and direct coordination with the relevant authorities, to provide them with all the weather and climate information that it helps to make the necessary organizational and field decisions to make the Hajj season work in a safe and stable atmosphere despite the expected high temperatures.
