Nahyan bin Mubarak opens the conference of the UAE’s International Managers Institute for the year 2025

Dubai, April 22 / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, opened this morning the twelfth edition of the activities of the “World Managers Institute in the UAE for the year 2025”, which is held under the slogan “Leadership for Excellence and Innovation in Business”, with the wide participation of senior government officials, business leaders, policy makers, experts and academics from different countries of the world.

The opening session, at the Habtoor Palace Hotel in Dubai, witnessed the presence of a number of prominent personalities, among them, His Excellency Mohamed Ahmed Al -Marri, Director General of the General Administration of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, His Excellency Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of the Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs and Ports Security, His Excellency Sinjay Sodaher, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the UAE, His Excellency Abdullah Ahmed Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, Al Habtoor, along with a group of businessmen, members of boards, and decision makers in the innovation and governance sectors.

In his speech during the opening session, His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan welcomed the participants and attendance at the Emirates World Conference of 2025, which focuses this year on leadership for innovation and excellence in the business sector, and thanked the Institute of Managers in India for organizing this important annual event, stressing his full support for the content of this conference, which reflects the deep and growing ties between the private sector, governments and people India and the UAE.

His Excellency said: I derive a great deal of hope and pride from this special relationship between our two countries, and as it is evident through this presence, there are a large number of loyal individuals who are an effective part of this relationship, and we all play a vital role in strengthening and sustaining it.

His Excellency explained that the conference this year focuses on the global need for strong, effective and reliable leaders in the business sector, and said that the matter does not need more than a simple knowledge of the mechanisms of institutional work to realize the importance of wise leadership at all levels, from members of the Board of Directors and executives to other administrators, as well as to understand the dire consequences of non -rational or incompetent leadership.

His Excellency stressed that the values ​​that are a pillar of successful leadership are firm values ​​that do not change, and he said that the successful leader must have integrity, transparency, self -motivation, and sound moral reference, in addition to the sincere feeling of responsibility towards those affected by his decisions, and the leaders must look carefully about the reality About them.

His Excellency added that the leaders bear the responsibility for setting standards, to assume role role, and consolidate the culture of accountability, and they must enjoy the ability to anticipate chances of change, mobilize resources to achieve it, and be able to persuade others to adopt their future vision.

His Excellency added: If these qualities are known and agreed upon, then why do we see almost daily news about prominent failures in institutional leadership? We can extract some lessons by contemplating these failures, which reveal to us four main elements that must have any successful business leader.

His Excellency explained: First, the leader must be aware of the culture and environment of the business in which he moves, and secondly, the leader must have the ability to accept reality, along with his constant awareness of the need for change, and thirdly, leaders should realize their role in enriching the societies in which they work, social issues affect the business environment, socially responsible practices contribute to improving institutional performance and making the world More fairly and fourth, the leader must be characterized by a global vision and awareness of how his institution, state and region are interconnected with the global context, and His Excellency said: It is inspired by this conference, the leadership is necessary to enhance the dialogue between works in India and the UAE, and the realization that the future future success is based on innovation and the production of knowledge, technologies and modern systems.

His Excellency concluded his speech by saying: In the UAE, our experience is full of leading models in the strong leadership and a good vision. A unique leadership model based on the foresight and formulation of its features.

He said that the UAE has become a leading country today, enjoying security, stability and prosperity, and looks at the future with confidence and hope, noting that this conference today carries the spirit of the future – the future of institutions, the future of the relationship between India and the UAE, and then the future of the global economy.

During the ceremony, His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak granted the Fellowship of the Excellence Institute of Directors for the year 2025 to: His Excellency Lieutenant General Mohamed Ahmed Al -Marri, Director General of the General Administration of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, and His Excellency Abdullah Ahmed Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy, in honor of their distinguished leadership contributions in the fields of governance and public service.

This conference is the fruit of cooperation between the Institute of Managers – India and the Tresar Group – the Emirates, and attracts more than 500 participants from the senior executives, members of the boards of directors, policy makers, and experts, to discuss vital axes under the slogan “boards of directors in a rapidly change world … innovative strategies for flexibility and sustainability.”
