المملكة: Hajj 1446 AH .. “Tawaa” carries out two hypotheses to promote plant and animal health in Mecca

The National Center for the Prevention of Plant Pest and Animal Diseases organized and controlled “a” promise “in the Makkah region of Makkah, two hypothesis in the fields of plant and animal health in the holy capital, with the participation of a number of relevant authorities, as part of the preparations for the Hajj season this year 1446 AH.
The hypothesis of plant health directly included the case of desert locusts in one of the site in Muzdalifah, where the specialized teams from the Department of Plant Health and the Center’s office in the Holy Capital began the case in the field, along with a number of relevant governmental and private agencies, which carried out the tasks of insect exploration, combating and evaluation.

While the animal health hypothesis, which was implemented in the Kingdom’s project to benefit from the guidance and sacrifices, included a case of suspicion of an infectious animal epidemic, as the specialized teams from the Animal Health Department and the center’s office in the Holy Capital immediately dealt with the case by applying the approved emergency plan, through conducting investigation and combating the control of the disease and limiting its spread, in cooperation with a sacrifice project and the participation of a number of the relevant authorities.

Raise the level of readiness

For his part, Dr. Ghaleb bin Abdul Ghani Al -Saadi branch, General Manager of the Burch of a Waqa Center in Makkah Al -Mukarramah Region, explained that the two hypotheses aim to raise the level of readiness to address the spread of plant pests and epidemic and infectious animal diseases, including the common between humans and animals, in addition to assessing the capabilities available to control the health status of livestock, according to the approved center plans, and enhancing coordination and integration between the participating parties.

Asaadi stressed that the implementation of the two hypotheses contributes to raising the efficiency of workers in the field, and gives them the necessary skills to deal with emergency situations, as it helps in measuring the level of harmony and coordination between the relevant authorities during the implementation of joint tasks.
