The Journalists Association organizes a dialogue session within the summit of media creativity for Arab youth in the city of El Alamein

Al -Alamein on August 19/WAM/The Emirati Journalists Association organized a dialogue session within the activities of the first day of the media creativity summit for Arab youth, held in the new city of El Alamein in the Arab Republic of Egypt, with the participation of a group of media professionals, experts and specialists in the fields of media, intellectual property and artificial intelligence.
Fadila Al -Muaini, Chairman of the Association’s Board of Directors, in her speech during the session, expressed her appreciation and gratitude to the Egyptian political leadership for hosting this important Arab event, stressing the importance of strengthening bridges of cooperation between associations and press unions in the Arab world to exchange experiences and enhance joint media work.
She emphasized that the media represents a mirror of societies, calling for the employment of social media as tools for rapprochement between peoples, not to build barriers or fuel disputes.
Major General Dr. Abdul Quddus Al -Obaidli, President of the UAE Intellectual Property Association, pointed out that the UAE annually hosts many conferences concerned with the protection of intellectual property, stressing the existence of effective global strategies in this field, and reassuring that there is no direct threat from artificial intelligence on intellectual property rights.
Dr. Mohamed Al -Ali, Chairman of the Trends Center for Research and Consulting, stressed, in a registered speech, the importance of Arab youth participation in the media content industry, pointing to the great transformations brought about by the artificial intelligence revolution in this field, and the importance of its use to expand the spread and influence.
Saqr Al -Suwaidi, the official spokesman for the Trends Center, explained that the center established a section specialized in artificial intelligence, investing in the development and use of the latest robot technologies in supporting cognitive and research production.
As for the journalist Ahmed Al -Taheri, he called for the need to exchange experiences between Arab media institutions and enhance joint cooperation, pointing to the importance of building a unified Arab media discourse that serves Arab societies.
The session concluded with the recommendation of the participants to launch awareness campaigns on social media under the slogan “No to abuse”, with the aim of liquidating the atmosphere among Arab youth groups, and enhancing the bonds of brotherhood and rapprochement between peoples.
