3 recommendations that qualify the Arabs to compete in the World Cup clubs

Athletes and former stars have identified three recommendations that qualify Arab clubs to compete in the “Club World Cup” championships with their new system, most notably the development of early preparation strategies at least a season of the championship entitlement, maintaining technical stability, and concluding technical contracts for professionals who are able to serve the team in fighting football giants around the world.

The athletes assured «Emirates Today» that Al -Hilal Saudi Arabia is the only Arab team that succeeded in qualifying for the 16th round in the tournament currently held in America until July 14, and presented through its results and its solutions in a runner -up in its group behind Real Madrid, a model of the mechanisms that the region’s clubs must provide before going to participate in the championship.

The athletes pointed out that the Arab results in the 2025 version revealed the weaknesses that must be addressed before the upcoming posts, whether in the early preparation of a merit that requires within its minimum limits, the technical stability of the training devices, within a clear -cut strategy, capable of concluding smart contracts that serve the team from foreign professionals at the height of their giving, instead of contracts with names at the end of its football career.

The athletes explained that the current participation has brought back to the forefront a set of problems related to the Arab football compared to European football spoils, both in terms of technical and tactical preparation, and the absence of the strategic vision embodied by the strength of contracts with foreigners at the height of their giving, and not to be satisfied with contracts with players looking for a distinctive conclusion of their football career.

It is noteworthy that the outcome of the Arab participation in (the World Cup Clubs 2025), and the exit of four of the five clubs in the group stage, is the Emirati Ain, the Tunisian Esperance, the Egyptian Al -Ahly, and the Moroccan Wydad, were limited to three wins, compared to eight defeats, and four draws, in matches during which the Arabs, including the only qualified Saudi Crescent, scored the representatives of the Arab football for the 16th round, the outcome of 12 goals, and received 12 goals Their nets are 32 goals.

Fight: A long -term clear strategy must be built

Sports analyst Badr Hareb confirmed that building a clear strategy is based on a technical stable team and contracts with foreign professionals who are able to harmonize with the elements of the team in a full season at the very least, from the foundations that club departments must search for, especially those crowned by continental titles, before they went to compete with the global football giants.

Hareb said, “The rushing of large teams, especially the European dominant titles (Club World Cup), requires within its minimum limits to build a strategy that pursues the same approach, in terms of the continuity of names and contracts, as well as the technical stability of the training agencies, before a season for the championship entitlement.”

He added: «We did not find a European team that borrowed a player for this tournament, even Real Madrid star Luka Modric and Vaskiz, who are with their team in the current version of the World Cup, knowing that their contract ended yesterday (June 30), while we find Arab clubs, which changed 70% of the team before going to participate, which makes it difficult for new arrivals to get enough time to harmony.

He added: «Al Ain Al -Emirati contracted with eight players, and Al -Ahly, who included prominent stars, including (Zizou), and even Moroccan Wydad, were negatively affected by the lack of time enough to prepare and harmonize.

Pay: Arab polarizations focus on the former stars

The head of the Tunisian coastal star club, the former international star and sports analyst, Zubair Bey said: “Al -Hilal presented a model for the identity of the Arab Club capable of fighting the world clubs, in terms of technical stability, and entering the championship without fundamental changes, and preceded by attracting players with their giving, such as contracting with goalkeeper Bono, and Senegalese Coulibaly, the most expensive defender in the world, which has completed with national elements representing The elite in Saudi football, most notably Salem Al -Dossary.

He explained: «Employing financial support and budgets that some Arab clubs include smartly, allows clubs to be able to be present and compete in front of technically stable teams, and the championship enters with most of its elements that they fought their last football season, whether locally or in continental entitlements.

He added: «Arab polarizations, at the level of foreign players, focus in general on former stars looking for the conclusion of their football career, or contracts with young players who want to leave a mark that qualifies them to move to higher levels, including as a matter of the Brazilian mention, Igor Jesus, who is currently brilliant in his team, Potafogo in (Club World Cup), and has previously professionalized the UAE league with Al -Ahly youth in Dubai.

Paya pointed out the difficulty of competing with the European continent’s competitions dominating the titles of (the World Cup clubs), and said: “The local player for Wydad and Al -Tarji and even the Egyptian Al -Ahly, despite their vaccination with distinguished players, is able to compete for continental titles, but it is difficult to compete for the title (Club World Cup) in front of clubs that annually attract the elite football players in the world.”

Kamouna: The new system makes it difficult

The star of the Egyptian national team and the former Al -Ahly club, Samir Kamouna, confirmed that the new system of the Club World Cup championships, makes the task in accordance with the current strategies on Arab clubs.

Kamouna said, “The Arab clubs are required to invest their participation in a championship that has become similar to (World Cup for Teams) amid the presence of 32 teams, in how to gain experiences, search for gaps, and find smart contracts capable of serving their teams in how to compete with international clubs coming from patrols that are the best in the world.”

He added: «With a quick look at the Arab teams that bid farewell to the championship, we find that Al -Ain and Al -Ahly entered into difficult circumstances, due to the lack of homogeneity of the new names that they contracted with, as well as their arrival from the season during which it is.

He continued: «The majority of clubs, with the exception of Al-Hilal, have played a difficult season in their continental championships, which made them head to the Club World Cup under unfavorable conditions to fight the best clubs in the world, and from them, the Ain was lost against Manchester City, who was crowned European champion in 2022-2023, and in front of Juventus.

He concluded: “Al -Hilal was more ready, whether by its technical stability in the level of the training apparatus or the strength of its contracts, and its qualification for a tie with a team the size of Real Madrid, and Selburg, before ensuring the second place qualifying for its group by defeating the Mexican Pachuca with a clean double.”

• The current participation has brought back to the forefront a set of problems related to the Arab ball compared to European.
