The former coach, the international lecturer accredited to the Emirates Football Association, Omar Al Hammadi, confirmed that the Portuguese training school has become one of the most prominent football schools in the world, indicating that its coaches are located in various major leagues, and the evidence is that most clubs participating in the World Cup of Clubs used Portuguese experiences alongside the Spaniards and Argentine.

Al -Hammadi told «Emirates Today» that the Serbian school is a realistic choice for many clubs, especially those that seek to persevere in the center centers or depend on the tactical organization and discipline, in addition to focusing on the defensive side.

And on the identity of foreign coaches who will appear in the new version of the ADNOC Professional League, Al Hammadi explained that he does not attach great importance to the names of the coaches or their nationalities, as much as it is interested in the presence of clear -cut strategies for clubs, which include short and long -term plans, focusing on the escalation of talents from young and youth sectors, and not relying on foreign players or residents only.

He pointed out that the national teams, especially at the youth and Olympic level, were influenced in terms of results at the international level, due to the absence of elements involved regularly with the first teams, which weakened the base of the technical choice.

Al Hammadi stressed the importance of giving trainers some powers in the process of selecting the elements that are contracted with, as they are the tools that the trainer relies on to implement his vision.

He said: «The evaluation of the coaches should not only be built on the results, but rather, as they commit to implementing the policies and plans established by the clubs’ departments. ”

He concluded his remarks to give a special advice to the clubs, that the rapid changes do not build a stable team, calling on them not to rush to dismiss the coaches as happened in previous seasons, citing the experiences of Arabism and Dibba Al -Hosn, as these repeated changes failed to save the two teams from the landing, stressing that the good choice from the beginning is the key to stability and success.
