stc Bahrain launches its project to revive homes for needy families in cooperation with the Royal Humanitarian Foundation

In order to enhance its role in uplifting the local community and through its ongoing initiative ‘stc Freej’, stc Bahrain, in cooperation with the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, launched its project to revive 15 homes for needy families throughout the Kingdom.

In order to personalize this project in line with the requirements of these families, stc Bahrain has commissioned a specialized team to follow up on the implementation of the project by conducting field visits to these homes, in order to understand the requirements of each family in line with their needs and backgrounds in designing to transform them into appropriate and comfortable housing in a way that achieves the greatest benefit to its residents. Decent means of living.

In order to support the local economy, stc Bahrain has contracted with leading national companies in the field of furnishings, assigning each of them a group of homes to equip and furnish with the latest supplies and designs, which include bedrooms, living rooms, air conditioning units, televisions, and many others.

In this regard, Sheikh Ziyad Al Khalifa, Vice President of Government Affairs at stc Bahrain, said: “The stc Freej initiative is a strategic step in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030, through which we aim to contribute to raising the standard of life in the local community.” The initiative is not only limited to empowering needy families in society, but also highlights the distinguished talents and competencies possessed by national companies, and we are committed to investing in the sustainable development of these families, through Providing her with the resources she needs and giving her the opportunities to ensure a decent living. We also extend our special thanks to our colleagues at the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, in addition to the national companies that worked hard with us, for their support in this initiative.”

Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, stated that this initiative is one of the important initiatives adopted by the Foundation in partnership with community institutions and with stc Bahrain in particular, which it is accustomed to implementing every year, as this year’s initiative included furnishing 15 houses of… Homes for mothers sponsored by the Foundation, which encourages other institutions and companies to actively contribute to furnishing more homes for families who have moved to new housing and cannot Furnish it appropriately. By launching the ‘Stc Freej’ initiative, stc Bahrain hopes to be a role model in serving society, enhancing its cohesion, and achieving cooperation among its members, which contributes to its prosperity and cohesion.

It is worth noting that the Freej stc program includes many initiatives aimed at supporting and empowering the local community, including renovating homes, renovating neighborhoods and councils, and providing educational opportunities and health care services to needy families, widows, divorcees, orphans, and others.
