Actress Badriya Tolba announced the death of her husband and father of her daughters, theater director Mustafa Salem.

Badriya Tolba posted on her official Facebook page a picture of her late husband, and wrote: “My daughters’ father, Mustafa Salem, has passed away. Pray for him for mercy and forgiveness.”

Mustafa Salem was a director and playwright who rarely appeared in the media. He played a major role in discovering Badriya Tolba’s talent, as he presented her for the first time in a series he wrote entitled “The Alphabet Tower,” Part Two. Badriya Tolba married Mustafa Salem when she was 18 years old.

Among the most prominent artistic works that Egyptian director and author Mustafa Salem, Badriya Tolba’s husband, directed: the play “Al-Wad Al-Jinn,” for which he was an assistant director and which was presented in 1993.

Mustafa Salem was the executive director of the play “Me, My Woman, and Monica,” which was presented in 1998. As for the author, he participated in writing the play “Eyal Tajnan” in 1994, and the play “Whoever wants to come to me.” (Nawaem)
